I've never had this problem and everyone I know that has a 360 has never had this problem. It sounds like something in the person(s) who are complaining's configuration and not the 360 itself. Halo 3 was the largest gaming (and multimedia) launch in history, you can't top that unless you are Microsoft/Bungie or if you drop the PS3 price to 199 for the day.
